ROB KOCHIK IS THE NEW YORK ORGAN DONOR NETWORK'S DIRECTOR OF REFERRAL AND RECOVERY SERVICES

 
New York, NY – May 6, 2006: The New York Organ Donor Network has appointed Rob Kochik as its director of donor referral and recovery services. Prior to holding this position, Mr. Kochik was the Donor Network’s director of clinical services.

As the director of donor referral and recovery services, Mr. Kochik heads tissue services including tissue recovery; organ preservation services, and the Donor Network’s new donor center.

Mr. Kochik has been working in the field of organ and tissue donation since 1985. Before joining the Donor Network, he was a division director in donor services at the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation, Edison, N.J. From 1985 to 1998, Mr. Kochik worked at Delaware Valley Transplant Program, Philadelphia, PA, now called Gift of Life Donor Program.

Mr. Kochik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland, and has done post-graduate work at LaSalle University and Widener University.
