Donor Network Names New Members to Its
Board of Directors,
December 3, 2002
The New York Organ Donor Network, the organ procurement organization
serving the Greater New York metropolitan area, and which marks
its 25th anniversary this year, confirmed the following
new appointments to its Board of Directors at its December 2,
2002 meeting:
Peter Hutchings, former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer of Guardian Life, the fourth-largest mutual life insurance
company in the United States. Mr. Hutchings retired at the end
of 2001.
Terence J. Mitchell, President of the Consumer Banking Division
of Independence Community Bank, where he has served in leadership
positions for more than 28 years.
Sally J. Rogers, Senior Vice President for Communications and
Development, United Hospital Fund in Manhattan. Ms. Rogers has
been with the UHF since 1978.
Amir Dan Rubin, Chief Operating Officer at Stony Brook University
Hospital in Stony Brook, NY. Mr. Rubin is responsible for overall
operations of the $730 million academic medical center on Long
Island.
Reverend Doctor Carolyn Yard, Staff Chaplain at the Burn Center
at New York Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan. The Burn
Center is the largest and busiest facility of its kind in the
nation.
