This is the New York Organ Donor Network's Memory Quilt Panel number six. The completion of the panel was announced in the spring of 2005. The panel was sewn by volunteers who called themselves “The Quilters in the Park,” because they met at Eisenhower Park on Long Island , where the Rose Garden honoring donors and their families is located. The quilters included Carole Hunka, a donor mother.
