On July 18, 1975 our angel was born – my daughter Susana, my only daughter that we loved so much and always will. She was a beautiful child, creative, inquisitive and playful. Through her teenage years she displayed confidence. She was every parents dream, smart and studious but also extremely sociable – a person her friends would look to for advice or a shoulder to lean on. Sue would go on to Boston College and grow up to be a wonderful person loved by everyone that knew her. She was beautiful inside and out, always willing to help others before herself. She was so excited to be starting her new job as a psychology counselor/coordinator – visiting patients at their homes and collecting information to help assess and improve their conditions. Susie, as we called her, always had the most pleasant demeanor, always full of life and laughter - you were drawn to her warmth. She believed in living life to it fullest.
Everything changed on January 13, 2002. God decided to take our angel back away from us. Sue had always been an advocate of organ donation. There is comfort in knowing that Sue was able to help others. Sue is no longer with us in body, but she is ever present in spirit and lives on with those recipients she managed to save.
Darling Sue, always know that you are terribly missed by all you have touched – Mom, Dad, Brother, Family and Friends. You will forever be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.
