To know Dale was to Love Dale --You were lucky
Because he had a Heart of Gold - and that you could see
As he grew older, he aspired to be a professional
Doctor - lawyer, he was smart - and intellectual
All his friends, family, acquaintances and teachers
Helped to shape his life, qualities and unique features
He died February 22 of 2003
It will never be the same for us - especially me
I get up every morning and say my prayers
Just to let Dale know that everyone still cares
For everybody who knows my son, Dale
He lived a short but good life - His story epic or tale
"The Gift of Life" for some just one of many slogans
Not for Dale - my son - who donated his organs
He made a difference - Yes he did - he saved 5 lives
My son lives on - that's right - spreading his bliss
To my son, Dale from all of us -A Big Hug and Kiss
God Bless you Dale - to me you are the best
I will see you later - when it is my time to rest.
I Love you Buddy - Wish you were here
Miss you every day - My son - so dear
