Omar Alonso Thandi
8-3-88 - 7-13-00

Omar was born August 3, 1988. Like an angel, he came to bless us with his love, his happiness and his obedience. He was smart and he had big dreams. He wanted to become a brain surgeon and save lives. He was a peacemaker. He loved his family and friends. Omar was a very healthy child. Omar enjoyed sports such as hockey, martial arts and swimming. He also enjoyed good food. If someone asked him, how are you? He always answered, “I am fine, life is good”.

Omar died on July 18, 2000. He had a head aneurysm. We miss him dearly. As a mother, I am grateful for having him for almost 12 years. I knew that he would save lives; and he did --- not as a doctor, but as God's instrument --- when we donated his organs.
