This photo of Rob is very special to me. It was taken the day he returned from a six month Float in the Mediterranean . I was so happy and proud of him. Rob was a crew chief on a helicopter for the USMC. He traveled the country and the world and participated in the withdrawal from Somalia . Rob's nickname inscribed on the helicopter was SPAZ. His last entry in his logbook was “No further flights this command”. How appropriate!

He loved his family and friends. Giving was part of his life. Being an organ donor was his idea long before his accident.

We miss him.
