Thank you for giving my family the opportunity to share our precious mother with you.

The “Memory Quilt” panel theme is a family tree comprised of mom (Carolyn Bennett), dad and the nine children. Mom had so many wonderful attributes and talents, a few of which were expressed as roots nourishing her tree. The material used was actually taken from one of her skirts; the lace heart was a piece of her many lace remnants and the green leaf was from her collection of arts and crafts.

The spirit and qualities of our remarkable mother will always be cherished.
