Charles Henion
8-17-27- 9-29-00

Charles Henion was born August 17,1927 in Paterson , NJ . He went to St. Mary's School and served in the U.S. Army. He was a tank driver in the 2 nd Armored Division stationed at Fort Hood , Texas from 1945 to 1947.

He married on September 27, 1947, after his return home, to Edna Kelly. They were blessed with two sons and two daughters, Linda, Charles, Thomas and Nancy. They made their home in Wanaque , NJ . Charles (Chuck) worked as an electrician mechanic in and around Paterson and was well known. His favorite saying was “ Always do a little bit extra”. He applied that to his work and life, teaching his children that doing just a little more was the kind of person he wanted them to all be. He was a hard worker, devoted husband and a terrific father.

Chuck was my soul mate and I miss him dearly. We celebrated 53 wonderful years of marriage. I was lucky to have met him and shared my life with him.
