My mom was the strongest person I think that I have ever known. She was smart, had a great sense of humor and she always had a smile on her face – even when times were very hard on us. No matter what the circumstances were, she could always find the silver lining. She was so full of love that sometimes it just seemed to burst out of her, and everyone that was around Mom could feel it. I really think that her greatest goal in life was helping other people and doing everything she possible could, even though sometimes she had to sacrifice a great deal. The day I lost her was hands-down the worst day of my life, but I learned so much from her that day. By letting her go, Mom was able to give the “Gift of Life” to several people. It was probably the hardest decision I’ve ever made, but looking back I now realize that she would have had it any other way. It is my hope and prayer that the people who received her organs also received a part of her loving and caring attitude as well as the giving attitude that she had throughout her life.

I miss you and love you more than you’ll ever know.
Megan
