PAUL was an effervescent, enthusiastic, passionate, and generous young man, full of hope and spirit. Sadly on May 16, 1999, his 26 year old positive life was tragically cut short when he was killed by a drunk driver. He was an only Son/Sun, a supportive brother and devoted fiancée. Paul had attained many accomplishments in his career as a successful stockbroker having risen to vice-president level. An avid athlete, Paul had achieved the maximum of his ability and was truly a team player, an outstanding and unique role model. A Mover and a Shaker!
Paul continues to give, SHARE, ripple and touch lives by being a DONOR HERO. He is a Symbol of Life after Life!..His Gift of Love in organ donation is the living, breathing, sacred, holy, Unselfish Gift of Life to his recipients and to all Humanity. This thought creates healing in the 'presence in his absence'! Paul lives in his song; The Gifts of Life and Love. It is heartwarming to hear Paul's own voice about the importance of setting 'Goals'. His Spirit lives on in the hope and blessings of all who pass through the Paul P. Grammatico Hall, at St. Mary's Children and Family Services in Syosset , NY. His legacy is Mission and Message that the 'wise and the educated in organ donation do not bury treasure'. Paul holds a Mirror that shines the mystery of death to the Miracle of transformation, strength and resiliency of such loss and grief. Divine 'YES' becomes celebration and faith strengthens us in Second Chances. Paul's Credo Verbatim.... "it's all about heart. Because I have a lot of heart, I can be the best; you can be the best, and eventually Sing Music to it...Paul Grammatico, that's who I am".
