SHANE RICHARD LILIENTHAL
8-06-99 - 8-31-00
Shane Richard Lilienthal—Our beautiful baby boy! What a gift to us he truly was. Our shy "little man", with a smile that lit up our lives. Always up for a game of peak-a-boo or tickle bug. What a friendly little guy. I can still see him standing at the front door pointing to the airplanes and the birds in the sky. Shane was always looking up-almost as if he knew his time here was only for a little while. Shane's time here with us was so short, but how he has forever enriched our lives, and the lives of complete strangers. We find great peace in knowing a part of Shane goes on. A part of Shane will ride a bike and throw a ball. Somewhere a little boy lives because of Shane's gifts to him, and for this, he is a hero-forever, our little hero. We feel so very fortunate for having Shane in our lives. We will miss him forever.
