Memory Quilt Stories
KEITH M. FERRARA
7-13-80 - 10-99
This is a short story about my son Keith Ferrara and his memory quilt square. Thank you for allowing me to share my memories.

Although Keith was 18 years old when he was killed, I chose a picture of him when he was 13. That age was very significant in his life.

It was at 13 that he was dedicated to the Lord and he willingly pledged himself to a church, becoming Born Again. Shortly afterwards, at a park, a white dove, a symbol of the Holy Spirit, love and peace, seemed to come out of nowhere and flew onto his hand. He spent the remainder of his five years helping teenagers in trouble.

On 1/10/99, he was killed instantly in a car accident. At his funeral over 500 people, mostly teenagers, committed to the Lord because of the example he set. His memory lives on but his work here was done.

All I know we will be together again, but this time, it will be forever.

Respectfully,
Dorothy Mau
