BRIAN M. JACKEL
10-11-82 - 1-27-98
Brian was a healthy fifteen-year-old young man who died very suddenly. He was just like any other fifteen-year-old. He loved to use the computer and talk to his friends. His favorite baseball team was the New York Mets. He had bought tickets for the Subway Series of 1998 between the Mets and the cross-town rival New York Yankees. He never got to see the games; Brian died less than two weeks later.

Brian owned a Playstation. His favorite game was "Mortal Kombat". He would show his friends any new moves that he had learned. The Christmas season was also his favorite; he loved the Christmas lights and the trees. The bigger the better.

These are the things that we put on Brian's quilt square. It represents all the things Brian liked and loved.
