ROBERT A. CONROY, JR.
8-17-63 - 2-1-98
"When Irish Eyes are Smiling"

On February 1, 1998, our son, brother, uncle, and friend died suddenly of a heart aneurysm. He was 34 years old. Due to the location of his death his vital organ could not be donated. However, his parents instructed the doctors to take anything of Robert's that could be used to help another human being. The cornea of his two sky blue eyes, the bones of his very strong body, and his beautiful skin were taken from him and donated. The shamrocks dancing around the swatch symbolize his Irish heritage. As well as his tremendous love for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, a passion he shared with his father, Robert, Sr.
