The New York Organ Donor Network gratefully accepts financial contributions to support our public education programs in the greater New York metropolitan area.
These informative programs promote organ, eye and tissue donation, reaching out to one of the nation's most diverse populations--13 million people of different races, ethnicities, religions, customs and cultures.
Public education programs allow the New York Organ Donor Network to reach specific racial and ethnic audiences, including Hispanics, African-Americans and people of Asian origin.
We also offer information to clergy and their congregations at a diverse range of houses of worship; to high school and college students; individuals in the workplace; people attending a variety of events including health fairs and sports gatherings; and at cultural organizations.
A major goal of the New York Organ Donor Network’s public education program is to encourage all individuals over the age of 18 to enroll in the New York State Donate Life Registry.
As more and more New Yorkers sign up to this registry of legal consent, the greater the likelihood of dramatically increasing the number of life-saving and life-improving organ, eye and tissue donors in our region.
By generously supporting our public education efforts, you play an active role in ensuring the viability of our mission: saving many more lives through the miracle of donation and transplantation.
Thank you for helping us, and thank you for your compassion and generosity.
