Share Your Story
If you are a transplant recipient, the New York Organ Donor Network invites you to tell us about yourself and how your transplant saved your life. By sharing with others, you will be an inspiration, especially to the members of donor families, other transplant recipients and those waiting for a transplant. And your experience may encourage more people to become organ donors. As you know, there is a desperate shortage of organs, and many others weren't as fortunate as you because no organs could be found in time. Your true story as a transplant recipient takes on even greater meaning this year, as the Donor Network celebrates 25 years of saving lives. Read about our 25th anniversary. You can share your transplant story either by emailing us at mwoolf@nyodn.org or by writing to: New York Organ Donor Network, Attention: Martin Woolf, 475 Riverside Drive, Suite 1244, New York, NY 10115.
