Arlene is an educator and a bereavement specialist, and has a graduate degree in counseling. Before joining the New York Organ Donor Network in 1997, she worked in counseling with children, adolescents, adults and families for many years. Her experience includes: public schools, colleges, agencies and private practice. |

Barbara Musto, Memory Quilt Coordinator
Barbara Musto became a donor mom in 1991 when her daughter, Karen was declared brain dead. Before joining the staff of the New York Organ Donor Network, she was a volunteer speaker for the organization. She is coordinator of the Donor Network's Memory Quilt project. Her experience includes membership in the National Donor Family Council, where she has served as an executive member of the board, coordinator of the national quilt, "Patches of Love" and has served on many committees and planning programs for donor families. |
