Organ Transplant Survival Rates

Patient survival after transplant is an important metric for evaluating the success of transplantation. Data about the survival rates of organ transplant recipients in the United States is collected by the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR) in collaboration with the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) under contract with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

Survival rate tables, including by type of organ, from 1997 to 2006 are provided in the 2008 Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN)/ Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR) Annual Report. This is the most up-to-date information available.
